MUSIC: THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MANKIND

The NGO La Mi Sol aims to facilitate access to instrumental practice by highlighting the importance of music in education and knowledge transmission. In partnership with local actors, La Mi Sol opens practice centers in regions where purchasing power is an obstacle to the acquisition of an instrument or the financing of its teaching.

Access to instrument practice while fostering cross cultural musicality

Although the very first objective is to ship instruments to ease access to instruments practice, we investigate partners' capabilities and foundations to develop long lasting projects. 

Capabilities to co-create a free teaching music system and solicit local institutions and entities are assessed prior to conducting any project.

In other words, what seems to be the first milestone of our partnerships, i.e., shipping instruments to lower-purchasing-power regions, happens only after we have done our due diligence. We work to forecast music centers' development over time as well as locations strengths and weaknesses to optimize our projects before launching NGO partnerships.

Words of wisdom for all of you starving musicians... 

To all musicians who are slowly giving up, do not. Just because someone is weighting you down, or you think you are not worthy of playing your instrument, or your self-esteem is dragging you down, do not give up. Mastering an instrument take some time, practice, and dedication, but you will be where you want to be if you hold tight.
